Acceptable Use Policy
Effective Date: September 19, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the standards of behavior expected when using the services, tools, and platforms provided by Ardcast Services Limited.
1. Philosophy & Free Expression
We believe in the open exchange of ideas and the utility of neutral tools. Our platforms are designed to facilitate communication, productivity, and creativity.
We do not moderate content based on viewpoint. We allow robust debate, controversial opinions, and content that others may find objectionable or challenging, provided it does not violate the specific legal and behavioral prohibitions outlined below.
2. Prohibited Content
While we value free expression, we operate under the laws of the United Kingdom. You may not use our services to upload, post, transmit, or store content that:
Is Unlawful: Violates specific UK laws, including but not limited to the Terrorism Act, the Malicious Communications Act, or laws regarding child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
Incites Violence: Contains credible threats of physical violence or promotes terrorism.
Constitutes Harassment: Engages in a pattern of targeted behavior intended to distress, alarm, or threaten a specific individual ("cyberstalking").
Is Non-Consensual: Reveals private, personal information of others without their consent ("doxing") or distributes non-consensual intimate imagery.
Infringes Rights: Violates copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights of others.
3. Prohibited Conduct
To ensure our platforms remain usable for everyone, you agree not to:
Distribute Malware: Upload viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs, or malicious code.
Phishing: Attempt to deceive others to gain access to their accounts or personal data.
Impersonate: Fraudulently claim to be Ardcast staff or another entity with the intent to deceive.
Interfere: Attempt to disrupt our servers (DDoS) or bypass security measures.
4. System Abuse & Technical Limits
Our digital utilities (converters, calculators, hosting) are shared resources. To ensure availability for all users, you agree not to abuse our infrastructure.
4.1. Unreasonable Load
You may not engage in activities that, in our sole discretion, impose an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure. This includes, but is not limited to:
Uploading files at a frequency or volume that degrades service performance for others.
Using our tools as a "Content Delivery Network" (CDN) for third-party websites.
Bypassing rate limits or storage quotas imposed by the Service.
4.2. Automation
Unless accessing a documented Public API provided by us, you may not use automated scripts, scrapers, spiders, or bots to access our tools, extract data, or interact with our services.
5. Enforcement
We reserve the right to investigate any violation of this policy. Determination of what constitutes a violation—particularly regarding technical abuse—is at our sole discretion.
If we determine that you have violated this AUP, we may take action including:
Content Removal: Deleting offending posts, files, or comments.
Temporary Suspension: Disabling your account or restricting API access for a cooling-off period.
Permanent Termination: Banning your account and blocking your IP address.
Reporting: We will report illegal content (such as CSAM or credible terrorist threats) to the relevant authorities as required by law.
